The Inside Sales and Marketing Specialist is a sales role focused on managing order flow, identifying prospective clients, lead generation, prospect nurturing, CRM database and marketing support.

The Inside Sales and Marketing Specialist is a sales role focused on managing order flow, identifying prospective clients, lead generation, prospect nurturing, CRM database and marketing support.

In this role, you’ll perform the following tasks:

  • Manage Exact Quote and Sales Order workflow: enter and follow-up on customer orders, communicate any details with Operations or Engineering in Production meetings, transact prepaids, invoice on shipment and close sale in Exact.
  • Answers distributor and end user questions and inquiries concerning correct selection of Champion products
    Excellent customer service skills; frequent telephone and e-mail communication
    Computer fluency: MS Word and Excel proficiency preferred.
    On the Job training for Zoho (CRM) and Exact (ERP).
    Develop knowledge of product; range, features, and benefits, to match customers’ needs.
  • Identify, research, qualify, and document (in the CRM) prospective customers
  • Source leads via phone prospecting, support of Reps, e-mail, social media networking, and strategic use of marketing collateral
  • Effectively manage a healthy pipeline to convert solid leads into landed accounts
  • Collaborate with VP Business Development to coordinate sales and marketing activities
  • Develop understanding of our business model and what constitutes a good customer opportunity
  • Assist with marketing activities and modify collateral in Canva to provide solutions for Reps and Customers
  • Maintenance of records in the CRM
  • Design and execute a business development strategy for target accounts
  • Work with VP Business Development to create a sales development plan with Manufacturing Rep Groups and execute the agreed to plan
  • Support the Rep Groups with customer transactions and calls

Qualifications:

o    Positive personality and good at relationship building

o    Ability to work well with technology and manufacturing processes

o    1-3 years of sales and marketing experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work hours:

Full time Exempt Salary plus Commission
Nominally 8-5, Monday through Friday
Supplemental Pay:

Commission of 0.75% of total sales.

Bachelor’s (Preferred)
MBA (Bonus)
Experience:

Sales Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
Marketing Experience 1 year (Preferred)
Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location:

Remote possible. Orientation and training required in Hood River, Oregon to start.
